Consider how often your energy is displaced from the current moment. Are you recalling or bringing up different emotions that you might not be experiencing right now? Are you longing for something that doesn't exist or that you missed? As long as you stay in the past, your energy will continue to be shifted away from the present. Each moment that you aren’t here in the present, then it's another moment that passed you by.
Sometimes people reflect upon how they did not enjoy some experience in life because they weren't there to enjoy it. Their mind was elsewhere. Their thoughts were elsewhere. Their intentions were elsewhere. They were elsewhere in the non-physical realm. You can choose to recall all the energy that you are giving to any experiences that have taken place. There are many times the events or situations that unfolded were out of your control. You might have wished that you were able to change or create whatever at that moment and it didn’t happen. That’s perfectly fine because it led you to this exact moment on your grand adventure.
When you recognize that you can forgive yourself on this journey, you may see a shift in how you shape, control, bend, share, use, and channel your precious energy. Instead of feeling regretful, angry, sad, empty for any reason, then you can choose to forgive how you made those choices at that past moment. Some people might long for more time or more experiences with others, and they may not realize that the only action that makes a difference is to live in the present moment.
Without forgiving yourself, you continue to stay stuck in a cycle where you might be punishing yourself for a moment that no longer exists. Some event might have taken place 15 years ago. If you try to forgive yourself for 15 years of actions, you might find that task a little intimidating. You might feel that it’s overwhelming or it might be incredibly draining for your precious energy.
If you break up those 15 years into individual days, hours, minutes, or seconds, then you can make it significantly more manageable. Choose to forgive yourself for even one second that has passed related to the events, incident, or situation. Then focus on forgiving yourself for a minute of it, then an hour of it, and then a day of it.
As you practice and refine how you can forgive yourself, you will notice that it gets easier as you continue on your journey. You will notice that other things in your reality can be forgiven. As you forgive yourself, you release your wonderful energy that you have focused on any situation or being. You’ve freed up that energy to return to you so that you can shape and manifest the incredible reality that you want.
